Welcome to my artistic adventure with Artsy Bee! I’m Sam Collinsworth, a nature-loving, animal-admiring creator who’s spent a lifetime wandering many paths—earning a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences, teaching high school art, drama, Spanish, and graphic arts, exploring yoga, working in a plant nursery, dabbling in taxidermy, and even writing closed captions for hunting shows. Along the way, I’ve learned that creativity blooms best with muddy boots, messy hands, and a few farm animals in charge of the studio.

I thrive on challenges and love painting on unconventional canvases, letting imagination lead the way. My artwork spans graphite, charcoal, acrylics, oil paint, watercolor, macrame, embroidery, and mixed media. I’ve illustrated a children’s book, showcased work in local coffee shops, and created commissioned pieces for clients across the U.S. and Canada.
